What this is
starostka.io and its subdomains are my personal platform, run by Benjamin Starostka Jakobsen. I run it for myself, my family, my friends and the people I work with. It is not a product and not a business. If you use it, these are the rules.
Your account
You have an account because I made one for you. Keep your sign-in safe, because what happens under it is on you. Stay out of accounts and data that are not yours. I can remove access at any time. Usually the reason is dull: an app moved or was retired.
Using it
Use it legally and in good faith. Do not overload it or try to break into it, and do not store or send unlawful content through it. If you connect another service yourself, such as a bank, that service's terms apply as well.
Your data
What you put in stays yours. The privacy page says how I handle it. I run backups, but keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
No guarantees
I run this on my own hardware, in my spare time. There is no uptime promise and no support desk, and things can change or go away without warning. Everything is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. As far as the law allows, I am not liable for lost data or for indirect damage from using it.
Law
Danish law applies. If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
